Shanelle graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, both through Bond University. She was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and has since developed a broad and well-rounded legal background across multiple areas of law.
Growing up on the Gold Coast, Shanelle began her professional career as an administration assistant in her father’s private certification business, which specialised in building legislation and codes. This early exposure sparked her interest in construction law and the intricate interpretation of legislation. Since then, she has gained experience in construction, strata, and property law with firms in Brisbane before refining her focus on estate planning, estate administration, estate disputes, and finance and commercial law.
In her current role at Croy Legal, Shanelle assists clients with all aspects of estate planning, administration, and disputes. She is dedicated to guiding clients through often sensitive and complex legal processes – from applying for probate and transferring property to resolving estate or power of attorney disputes. Known for her clear communication and compassionate approach, Shanelle takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and goals, crafting tailored solutions that provide peace of mind.
Shanelle’s clients value her calm, considered manner and her ability to make them feel supported and empowered throughout their legal journey. She believes that trust and understanding are at the heart of every strong client relationship and takes pride in helping people regain confidence and clarity when faced with life’s legal challenges.
Outside of work, Shanelle enjoys painting and sketching, often doing live drawings at weddings and events, and spending time walking along the beach with her puppy.
